​​REFUNDS

** There are NO REFUNDS or CREDIT once schedules / brackets have been posted and sent to coaches. ** 

 

If an age division is cancelled, you will be entitled to a full refund.
 

 

RAIN OUT / WEATHER POLICY

  • In the event of a rain out, weather related cancellation, or shortened tournament, a pro-rated credit towards future tournaments (less a 20% administration fee). 

  • If NO Games are played, a Full Credit will be awarded towards a future TIGSPORTS tournament entry fee.

  • If one game is played you will receive 50% Credit towards a future TIGSPORTS tournament entry fee.

  • If two or more games are played there is NO REFUND.  

 

Please note: Refunds can take up to 3-5 business days.

TOURNAMENT RULES

 

All Teams Must Provide:

  • OFFICIAL ROSTER–Online thru Triple Crown Sports portal.

  • WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY–Electronically parent signatures.

  • COPY of TEAM INSURANCE 

 

1. AGE: Age cut-off is August 31st.

 

2. NFHS Softball Rules will be used with TIGSPORTS modifications. (10u & 12u–NO Metal Cleats Allowed)

 

3. Be prepared to play 15 minutes early, prior to scheduled game time.

 

4. GAME TIME= Forfeit time. A team must have at least 8 players to start a game

 

5. GAME TIMES will be 90 minutes – No New Inning (Pool & Bracket)

  • No new inning shall start after time has expired.

  • Pool Play-Ties will be recorded. Bracket Play–must have a winner.

  • HOME TEAM-Determined by COIN FLIP in POOL PLAY, HIGHERSEED will be home in BRACKET.

 

6. TIE GAME: International Tie Breaker will be used in Bracket Games Only-IF Tied at the End of Regulation or Time has Expired. Last out recorded–starts at 2B)

 

7. LINEUPS: ALL Games–must present a line-up card to the Umpire at the coaches ’meeting.

  • May Use EPs and may Bat Entire Line-Up (Pool Play Only)

  • May Use EP–DP/FLEX and Bat up to1 0 Players (Bracket Play)

  • COURTESY RUNNER Pool Play-Pitcher and / or Catcher Only and must be last batted out. BracketPlay-Courtesy Runner must be player NOT in the lineup and has not been in the game

 

8. RUN RULE S

  • 12 after 3 innings

  • 10 after 4 innings

  • 8 after 5 innings

 

9. JEWELRY– Jewelry is permitted unless deemed dangerous by the umpires, in which case it shall be removed.

 

10. HEAD COACH: is responsible for the conduct of their players, coaches, and fans.

  • Only (1) Coach is Allowed out of the dugout for defensive / pitch calling (No bucket or chair)

 

11. EJECTIONS:

  • Coach=relegated to outside the complex for remainder of game.

  • 2nd Ejection or a Post Game Ejection=removed from complex for the remainder of the tournament.

  • Player=confined to dugout for the remainder of the game.

  • Fan=removed from the complex for the remainder of the tournament, along with game ejection of Head Coach

 

12. SPORTSMANSHIP:

Zero Tolerance Policy Enforced and Items Not allowed within the Complex:

THREATENING COMMENTS ·PROFANITY·VERBAL/ PYHSICALABUSE· SMOKING · ALCOHOL · FIREARMS

(Any person not adhering to these policies will be removed from the complex for the remainder of the tournament, along with their respective Head Coach / Manager)

 

13. BATS: All bats must bear one of the logos below. If it does NOT have the logo, then it is NOT a legal bat.
