The Tucson Invitational Games (T.I.G.) is proud to host the 2nd Annual Golf Tournaments for Spring 2011. We are excited to present your team with the opportunity to play at two of the finest courses Southern Arizona has to offer. We are pleased to anounce that both, The Conquistador and Cañada Courses are part of the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf Resort and our home courses for 2011.

Teams will compete Wednesday, Thursday for each of the 6 weeks of competition, starting February 23th and continuing weekly to March 31st. Your team members will play 36 holes of golf. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Men’s and Women’s Teams and Individuals, for that week.

Since its inception in 2002 with softball, the T.I.G. has grown because of our hospitality, variety of competition and great playing conditions. As we enter into our 9th year we are proud to have hosted over 300 schools, their family and friends and hope to make it many more in the years to come!

Golf Coordinator: JoAnne Lusk

JoAnne is currently a Teaching Professional at 49er Country Club.  She teaches a large clientele of golfers since the early 90's,

She was named a Top 50 Instructor by Golf for Women Magazine in March of 2002.  She is a former Women's Golf Coach at the University of Arizona. inducted into the National Golf Coaches Hall of Fame in 1993, and a former Head Professional at Quail Creek Country Club and Tubac Golf Resort.  She is a member of both the PGA and LPGA, two associations that educate golf professionals in the areas of business for golf and golf instruction.
